Bro. Richard Laverty retired after many years of pastoral ministry.  He and his wife, Karen, drive over from their home in Ransom Canyon each Sunday morning.  His last two pastorates were in Farwell, Texas, and then 20 years at FBC of Perryton.  He has mentioned that he does have a tie to Lockney.  When they were students at Wayland, their first child was born in Lockney Mangold Memorial Hospital. We are presently and prayerfully leaning on the Lord to lead our next pastor our way.  In the meantime, we are in good hands with the Laverty's.
